Privacy Policy

Effective October 16, 2026

Time Container is an iPhone app for recording how you spend your time and preserving memories. This policy describes the current app version.

Information stored on your device

Events, dates, durations, categories, notes, photos, audio recordings, videos, and imported files are stored in the app’s local storage on your device. The app does not require an account or send this information to a developer server. Your device backup is controlled by your iOS and Apple account settings.

Permissions and media

The app requests microphone access when you choose to record audio. You select photos and videos through Apple’s system picker, and files through the system file picker. You can manage app permissions in iPhone Settings.

Sharing

When you choose to share a daily poster, it shows the date, event labels, and durations. Notes and media stored inside events are not included. You can choose whether the poster shows a QR code and provide its destination URL. If you separately share an attachment, iOS sends it to the destination you select.

Data collection and tracking

The current app has no advertising or third-party analytics SDK and does not track you across apps or websites. The developer does not collect personal information from the app. If a future version changes this, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information.

Retention and deletion

Your records remain on your device until you remove content where the app permits it, uninstall the app, or erase its data through iOS. Completed historical event records are locked by default, but you can add dated memories. Consider your device backup settings before uninstalling.
